What do therapy lasers treat?
During laser therapy, energy in the form of light photons are absorbed within the cells of the body. In the plant kingdom, we see a similar process with photosynthesis. In the animal kingdom, this process is called photobiomodulation.
Most conditions that are associated with inflammation, wounds, or pain can be treated. Such conditions include post-surgical pain, wound healing, swelling, chronic inflammatory and/or painful conditions such as arthritis, nerve entrapment, joint or muscle pain/swelling, chronic and acute infections such as anal gland infections, moist dermatitis (“hot spots”), interdigital cysts, ear infections, and non-healing wounds.
